PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
Coriza-P Suspension is commonly prescribed for children to alleviate
symptoms such as runny nose, cough, sneezing, watery eyes, sore throat, body ache, and fever.
These symptoms are often associated with common cold, hay fever (allergic rhinitis), and
other respiratory tract conditions.
Administer Coriza-P Suspension to your child by mouth, with or without food. If your
child experiences stomach upset, it is preferable to give it with food. Keep in mind that
the dosing schedule provided by your child's doctor depends on the specific symptoms your
child is experiencing. Therefore, make sure to strictly follow the prescribed dose, timing,
and method of administration.
Establish a fixed time each day to give Coriza-P Suspension to your child, which will help
it become a routine and aid in remembering. If your child vomits within 30 minutes of taking
the medicine, repeat the same dose. However, avoid repeating the dose if it's already time
for the next scheduled dose. Your child may start feeling better within a week of regular
dosing, but it is essential to continue administering the medicine for the entire prescribed
course. Abruptly stopping the medication may worsen your child's condition.
Some minor and temporary side effects that your child may experience while taking this
medicine include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, dry mouth and nose, dizziness, drowsiness,
headache, fatigue, restlessness, insomnia, rapid heart rate, and rash. Usually, these side
effects subside as your child's body adapts to the medication. In case these side effects persist
or become bothersome for your child, promptly consult your child's doctor.
Provide your child's doctor with a comprehensive medical history, including any ongoing
medication regimen or a history of allergies, heart problems, blood disorders, birth defects,
airway obstruction, lung anomalies, skin disorders, liver impairment, and kidney dysfunction.
This information is crucial for making dose adjustments and planning your child's overall treatment.

HOW CORIZA-P SUSPESNION WORKS
Coriza-P Suspension is a combination of three medicines: Cetirizine, Paracetamol, and Phenylephrine, designed to alleviate symptoms of the common cold. Cetirizine functions as an antiallergic, blocking histamine (a chemical messenger) to relieve allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes, and sneezing. Paracetamol acts as an analgesic (pain reliever) and antipyretic (fever reducer) by inhibiting the release of specific chemical messengers in the brain responsible for pain and fever. Phenylephrine serves as a decongestant, narrowing the small blood vessels to provide relief from nasal congestion or stuffiness.
